Depending on which Rescue Aussie you adopt, your Aussie may be eligible to compete in a variety of competitive areas: ASCA Obedience and Tracking - Open to any dog who has been issued a Limited Exhibition Priviledge* (LEP) or Indefinite Listing Privilege** (ILP) number through any organized dog registry (such as ASCA or AKC). Many mixed breeds become eligible to compete by registering with AMBOR. ASCA Working (herding) - Open to any Aussie or other "herding-type" breed, or any cross-bred dogs of herding origin from a list published in Appendix 1 of the ASCA Stockdog rules. ASCA, NADAC and USDAA Agility - Open to any dog, including mixed breeds - NADAC and USDAA require the dog to be registered with their organizations prior to the event.

*"LEP" Limited Exhibition Privilege registration allows purebred Australian Shepherds to compete for degrees in eligible ASCA competitive programs except Conformation.
