Jeane Roberts, of Mountain High Aussies says:
... Cathy and Dick Jones had let CASA (Colorado ASA) to use their cattle (rank steers) for the trial. The steers were pretty tough and people started complaining that they were too tough. Now I am not sure of Cathy's exact words, but she asked, in so many words, that if she could produce a dog that could move the steers, would that satisfy them? Some folks said, "oh sure," like they knew one single dog couldn't get that job done. Well, Cathy let out a whistle and Ted (Reddy Teddy) jumped out of his pen, came flying down to the arena and Cathy opened the gate. Ted walked in and stared at the tough ol' steers, and we swear that the steers asked Ted, "Uh, where do you want us to go? We'll go already, we'll go!" ... Yep, ol' Ted was a pretty tough dog and a very special one at that. ...
