| STORIES ABOUT HYMIE: |
Mary Hawley, of Windsor Aussies says:
Hymie was the most well known and successful son of Hemi. He was
whelped on August 26,1972. His dam was Hazel Snow's HOF CH. Snow's Regal Cactus
Berry CD.
We put a deposit down on Hymie on July 14, 1972..I still have the
agreement! The deposit was for a blue merle male, and guess what? There
was only one blue male! We had our Hymie! Paid a dramatic price of $125.00 for
him..lots back then, but worth every penny!
[Hymie was] a little 21 " blue merle w/ white boy, with
moderation. But you could tell he was male! Beautiful full, clear coat, and
the prettiest brown eyes! And oh, sooooo smart.
He picked at his food as a
baby, so we bought a goat, and Gary milked every day! He was named "Goat
Milk" on his chart at the Vets! Boy, he had us fooled! I would hand feed him
and cry..my puppy is gonna starve! Yeah, right! He did learn to eat..finally!
