To be eligible for web advertising, members must be active and in good standing with the club. Active and in good standing, as defined for web advertising will include:
- Current status on membership dues;
- Attend at least 3 club meetings in the previous 12 calendar months; and
- perform 1 club job (i.e. steward, time-keep, ring-setup) in the previous 12 calendar months.
Because this is a new rule, a probationary exemption period will be in effect through the remainder of 2001. Any advertising submitted for publication in 2002 will be subject to these requirements. |

| As an ASCA affiliate, the ASC of Arizona subscribes to the ASCA Code of Ethics as a vehicle to promote responsible breeding. As such, litters will not be advertised or referred by the ASC of Arizona unless (in addition to the criteria above), the breeder & litter also meet the
criteria defined in Article II, Section 4 of the Code of Ethics: |
A breeder should use for breeding purposes only those individuals free from
defects such as monorchidism, cryptorchidism, deafness, albinism and other such
disqualifying defects.
- He should use only those individuals whose hips have been x-rayed for
Dysplasia and rated normal to excellent by a qualified radiologist.
- He should take care to use only dogs whose eyes have been examined and found
free from signs of ocular deformities.
- He should further refrain from using an in
dividual who, although free from
the above defects, consistently produced afflicted puppies. |
